Efficiency is high on the list of design priorities,

of Apple's Silicon hardware.
The renderer is built for Apple's Silicon hardware, so A/M Series chips are required to run Chamfered.
Intel hardware is not supported for that reason.
Ease-of-access is important. It should be easy to understand the basics.
In Chamfered, there is no need to write code, nor any fiddling with many keyboard shortcuts and unique combinations of mouse clicks.
